Team totals--SJ by a bunch, Holbrook, I think RV. Sorry I didn't write it all down but that is what I remember. Hopefully someone official will clarify it later.

3 matches I highly anticipated seeing

Workman RV and Nielsen SJ. Workman held the season edge coming into this one 2-1 against Nielsen. First period both wrestlers got after it but no one could score--Nielsen got called for a stall warning, for what I have no clue, they were both very aggressive. Nielsen chose down second period and Workman rode him for about 1:30 before Nielsen finally got an escape to go up 1-0. Third period began 1-0 and Nielsen rode Workman for about 1:15 before the official awarded a questionable stall point to tie it up 1-1. Seemed to flip a switch in Nielsen, got really aggressive and finished the match by Pin late. Two incredible wrestlers.

2nd match had to be Alvarado and Beecroft. Just two phenomenal wrestlers, whom I had watched earlier have a dogfight match in SJ with Beecroft Winning. Alvarado seemed like a man on a mission, coming out extremely aggressive, and that aggression resulted in an early lead which he held onto to win. Beecroft was not happy, and being the competitor these guys both are--lookout next weekend, it will be a brawl.

3rd match was Crosby SJ and Nichol RV. Watched these two kids go at it for years now. I think Nichol holds a slight advantage in head to head, but Crosby had gotten the better of him Both match ups this year. Both kids dominated until finals, where Crosby looked as good as I've seen him look. I think he won 8-2 or something. If crosby continues to wrestle that way he is really good.
