Confusion as to what time finals start as 1st and 2nd were supposed to wrestle under the light a 6pm. I know a few coaches (Chavez and another) brought concern to head table and wanted to start all finals at same time. Apprently all coaches were on same page. Especially Yuma schools that want to be home before kickoff on Sunday. Not sure what time finals start, but I think everything is moved up. We left at 10:00 and all teams were still there nearing end of second round of consis.

Any news? Results? Anything?

Ended a bit late (8:00) in Section 1. Desert Edge ran it, did what they could, but it should've been hosted by a team within the Section. Add another mat things end at 4:00. and add a hospitality room. Cibola wins comfortably, but by no means a runwawy.

Thanks for te final results, I left after 138.
Camarillo looked real tough in a 9-4 win in finals. Martinez was in deep on a couple of shots, but Camarillo has strong hips. He's a tough one to takedown. Anaya of at 120 displayed quickness in his finals over Avila. Avila was close to tying at buzzer, but couldn't quite finish.

CIbola's lower weights all looked solid. They will have to peak next wekend to take home the team title as their uppers (if they qualified) will be lucky to earn team points.
